Meet the Owner
Legacy Ground & Home LLC was founded in 2025 with a simple mission: deliver dependable, high-quality earthwork and home services built on experience, integrity, and pride in craftsmanship. What started as one man's long-standing passion for construction has quickly grown into a trusted local company serving homeowners, landowners, and builders across Parker County and the surrounding communities.
James began his construction career in 2007, working primarily in residential remodeling. At just 23 years old, he became a licensed General B Contractor and launched his first construction company, completing full home renovations from the ground up. Those early years built the foundation for a hands-on work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing the job right the first time.
In 2022, James and his family made the move to Weatherford, Texas, putting down roots in a growing community. By late 2024, he decided to reinvest in his original vision — earthwork. After purchasing his first skid steer, that vision quickly became reality, and in 2025, Legacy Ground & Home LLC was officially launched.
Today, Legacy proudly serves a wide range of customers — from major home builders to private landowners. With nearly two decades of hands-on experience, the company offers reliable solutions for excavation, grading, land clearing, drainage, and residential and agricultural projects. As the fleet continues to grow, so does the commitment to quality, honesty, and building a lasting legacy for every customer served.
